Just when I think I’ve seen it all…

This is NOT okay. Let’s encourage motherhood earlier, shall we.

As if I wasn’t disturbed enough about a breastfeeding dollbaby, I went to the website. There is a section, Why Little Girls Need to Learn to Breastfeed, that reads like a lactation brochure given to new mothers. The copy goes on to give HHS statistics about the health benefits of breastfeeding and the agency’s goals around the issue.

And who is giving them awards?!

I have always been a proponent of nursing. For mothers who are able to do so, it has proven benefits for your baby. But I would never by this for any child.
