To all of the women and men who have served in the armed forces and reserves to protect us, say thank you. For those families who have lived ones who continue to serve or will serve, we thank you.
Such service is unfathomable to me but I am humbled but it and never miss the opportunity to thank a veteran. Nir should you. It’s not about war, it’s about the people and families who sacrifice.
Thank you.

While I appreciate the thanks (Air Force Veteran), Memorial Day is about those who have given the ultimate in defense of us –the people who have died in combat.
I don’t think we can ever thank them enough or recognize their dedication enough but we can try.

I understand that technically Memorial Day is to observe those who have died in service. I also use it to remind people of the ongoing sacrifice of those who currently serve and those who will; and to be thankful year-round, in different ways. Thank you for your service and your comment.
