I recently dove into the world of TikTok because my daughter insisted that, as a creative, I needed to be there. Originally, she was supposed to be hosting the account for me, but that didn’t happen – and now I understand why. TikTok is far more personal than the other social platforms (at least the ones that I’m familiar with…).

Anyway, I’m stumbling through it. It’s not as intuitive as others. There are so many things I don’t know how to do and feel like I’m missing out on. I have, however, honed my video-making skills!

And so my journey continues as a new, indie author, promoting my novel. I don’t know what I’m doing half of the time, but there’s beauty in that. I’m learning new things and “meeting ” new people AND finding out about terrific books to add to my TBR list.
